    I can see the joy and peace a person can have simplifying life and living (for awhile) as this person you mention here. I absolutely LUVVV being in nature, camping and getting away from the “day to day” of making a living. However, I would not call it “complete” or sustainable. Maybe for a while if you’re single. Definitely not if you have a family. I’ve done some rugged camping….even when our children were babies. But “living off the grid” for any period of time with a family would require far more building and resources than a “hobbit hole”. It’s a romantic notion, but you have to find balance. 🌲⛰😊🏕

    Yesssssss! Loved TOWER RECORDS. In the early 1980’s, I lived 3 hours away as a kid and my dad would drive my twin sister and i into Manhattan and we would run around Tower Records & Canal Jeans all day. Great great memories. Thanks for that flash back. Great channel.

    Good day sir, I’m a young guy in my twenties , I’m from Uzbekistan , and currently I am an international student in China , and then Im planning to move to Japan . So To be more precise I’m soon turning 22 years old, and not long ago I realized that I wanna create an anime series and movie , and I thought I would be doing it by assisting my director or whoever, then the more I learn about our I understand that actually I want to do it myself. It is always sad that you can express yourself through art. At the same time can teach someone something. So that’s partially what I wanna do through my drawings. I wanna inspire people show them everyday happiness in our lives. Daily small things that appear to be beautiful but sometimes aare not noticed , and amazing nature that we have. I can’t quite tell when exactly I started learning to draw, but it’s been some time, but I talk about real efforts to learn the aspects of drawing, then I’d say just 3 weeks ago. Somehow, I found your channel and really grateful that you share such an interesting and useful knowledge. I appreciate your efforts. Sometimes I take notes that will be kept for the lifetime, and I’m glad I have some notes and quotes from you as well. I find you very calm, happy satisfied, and thankful for everything. It feels like your character and soul are in tact with the universe . Thank you once more for the content, I’ll keep learning them!🍵🩵

    Great points! It's hard to get started when your mind is quiet and you have no ideas. Writing ideas in a notebook when they pop up is well...a great idea. As you said I find if I just start drawing SOMETHING...the flow will happen eventually. But if I sit staring at the blank page forever...it's quite discouraging. Thankyou for the videos ❤

    Only at a first glance this is a „problem“ with social media etc. On a second glance the question behind it is „what and where is truth, where is the real thing?“ The real thing, the true thing is not in texts. And your tiredness while reading or trying to read is a sign, that deep in you you know this. So, where is it then? Many wise people tell us, it is in us. And we find it, maybe, on a walk through nature or similar. Much love to you! ❤

    I really am an serious introvert, and I need reasonable privacy to either write or to draw or paint (or take music lessons, or exercise, for that matter). It's unreasonable that I would have to turn myself inside out, and somehow overcome the natural, inborn need to be the one to control what I share or don't share; it isn't even sharing when we don't have any control over it! It isn't doing decent work and deciding now's the time to share it with someone else. I need that much control over what I do. I was raised with a ot f solitude and loneliness, but my parents respected my emotional need for privacy to be creative, for the most part. That isn't asking too much, but it still may never happen.. Meanwhile, I have ideas generating and developing in my head, and every so often, I decide I can venture a little now. I just need the reasonable privacy. It is not asking too much. I am hoping it will happen soon. Honestly, I can't even read books, if I going to be harassed about what I'm reading. People think I just don't care about reading, but it isn't true. It is not some big, public display of reading, for goodness sake. Reading doesn't work like that! Neither does venturing any attempt to do something creative.

      On top of that, I want to write for kids, and that includes marshalling my old, visual art stuff to develop into the good enough illustrator of my own books. I figure that' a "sketchy" style would probably be just fine for what I have in mind, although there would probably be some more finished works BUT, due to to the mess of my earlier life, I have got to be able to publish under a pseudonym. So both my writing style and my drawing style have got to be kept separate from the violation of privacy, because otherwise, someone who is not so kind could track my work down, blowing my necessary cover. A degree of privacy is a basic human need, therefore it is something we have an equal right to. I'm just asking to be left alone (not completely alone, like "solitary"!) so that I could put to use the gifts I do have, whether they are such great gifts is to be seen. They don't have to be "great", I just want to communicate with people I care about, about important things in life, and however well I could pull it off would be adequate to do that. About 10 years ago, I'm guessing, I went to a Captain D's for supper, and happened to notice a favorite 60s music star/songwriter in the line. This is tied in my memory with wanting desperately to have the privacy to journal, during that same period of time, and to try to write stories and to start back on my visual art, drawing and beginning to paint, with no one looking over my shoulder. About 10 years later, and my privacy is still being violated, and since some people like cruelty, it may never change, as long as I live. I have to realize that if God wants me to write and draw and paint for kids, He'll have to make it possible. I also have to realize that He does know what is wise, and as much as I want to do these things, it truly may not be something that would have a good outcome. But everyone giving lessons in writing or visual art, keep prodding their watchers/learners to overcome (avoidance: can't think of the word that begins with p, I think. Oh, it's "procrastinate"!) and just go ahead and try. But I'm not procrastinating! I wouldn't be trying to develop something inside, if I didn't want to go ahead and get started on all of it. Man, it drives me batty! And no; I'm not already batty.

    • @lindajohnson4204
      @lindajohnson4204 3 дні тому

      I also need privacy so that I would be able to safely maintain anonymity. That way, I can write under a pseudonym, and no one could connect what I wrote or my illustrations with my violation of privacy or anything in my earlier life. If there are examples of my work floating around, then I couldn't be assured that I could maintain my anonymity. There has to be a clean break from one to the other. If those who like to violate privacy don't like that, maybe they need to stop gaslighting people that their violations are being shared with anyone and (perhaps?) everyone. I don't think it's everyone, but that's gaslighting for you. Aren't they creating more trouble for themselves?

    O my goodness. This was soo helpful and right on time. I am legally blind and I am an artist. I recently got the idea to make videos of my artwork and encourage other blind artists to keep doing art. I learned so much over the years about painting blind, and I want to share tips on how to create art with a visual impairment. I just started making my first video, but I don't love the piece that I recorded doing. I know that it is fine, but I think that I am making excuses because I am afraid to fail. I feel like I will be putting my vulnerabilities on display, and that is scary. But I am passionate about art, and I am passionate about helping others. Your words really hit home for me. I realize that I don't want to let blind people that I want to help down. Your video really helped me to readjust my thinking about all of this. Thank you so much for this video. This was truly helpful❤
